TROIS C-L reconnects with Yuval Pick, and Yuval Pick reconnects with Jean-Sébastien Bach! The choreographer has long been familiar with the composer’s universe, whose music evokes for him overlapping loops that respond to one another, with rotations and spiral movements. The evening consists of a male solo and a female duet that play with several of Rosalyn Tureck’s interpretations of the Goldberg Variations, whose “slower tempo leaves more intervals into which dance can be introduced,” according to Yuval Pick.  He invites us on a journey towards silence — or rather, towards peace — like two hands clasping, finding one another in difference and discovering the possibility of harmony, of accord.
