DANCE | Memory of the skin – Mateusz Szczerek (Ireland)

Hosted in residence at TROIS C-L in early 2026, Mateusz Szczerek presented a work-in-progress showing of Memory of the skin during 3 du TROIS in February. He returns to present the full version of this project, which explores body modification through tattooing as an act of identity and a ritual of transformation. Blending personal poetry and Krump, the artist examines the marked body, chosen pain, and the search for reconciliation with oneself.
