Jennifer Gohier invites you to a new professional contemporary ballet class during the week of May 5 to May 8, 2025!
The contemporary ballet class offered by Jennifer Gohier is a classical dance class made up of a series of simple exercises at the barre and in the center, enriched with contemporary dance qualities such as breath, release, weight, curves, and more. It will allow each participant to warm up, work on their body and movement coordination, while refining their ballet technique.
Jennifer Gohier
Jennifer Gohier trained at the Conservatoire of Angers and then at the CCN-Ballet du Nord School. In 2005, she joined the Ballet of the Metz Métropole Opera, where she performed in the lyrical, classical, and contemporary repertoire of the company directed by Patrick Salliot. Between 2009 and 2015, she continued her artistic journey working with various choreographers such as Christophe Garcia (FR), Julien Ficely (FR), Anu Sistonen (FI), Francesco Vecchione (IT), Bernard Baumgarten (LU), and Annick Pütz (LU).
Together with Grégory Beaumont, she founded Cie Corps In Situ, a company through which Jennifer creates, explores, meets, performs, and dances — on stage, in public spaces, schools, and more, reaching out to audiences through creations in various forms with a special focus on younger audiences. The choreographic world she creates is visual, musical, and wordless, making the performances accessible to children and audiences of all ages, geographical origins, and social backgrounds. The movement language is dynamic, full of physicality, and nourished by the collaboration of the artists she works with.
