First things first, what is “Dance Series”? It’s 4 creators, 4 visions of the world, 4 aesthetics who decided to join forces around the same concept under the impetus of the AWA company. It’s built around 3 dance-video episodes, each filmed using different shooting techniques, offering a unique experience: live action, VR360 and livestreaming. The common thread is a theme that can be as universal as it is personal: the end of a world, “La Fin De Leur Monde”. Following a period that has shaken up many points of reference, Dance Series offers a form of introspection by four artists on the world they have had to abandon. Our history tries to renew itself, and sometimes to repeat itself, but the experience of a period, and of a changing universe, cannot be identical. The reclusion associated with the health crisis has changed our habits, and brought about a form of awareness. Our immortality and freedoms, which we took for granted, are no longer so taken for granted. To be meditated on without moderation.
