10. & 11.04.26 | 55+ MOVERS with Anne-Mareike Hess

© Jonathan Couvent

In this new 55+ MOVERS, Anne-Mareike Hess invites participants of all ages and backgrounds to explore her artistic work and approach to the body. Starting from the idea that the body reflects our society, we will gently investigate the connection between movement, sensation, and emotion.

The workshop unfolds as a long, guided physical journey. Step by step, we will warm up the body, find skeletal support, and focus on opening the senses to become more receptive to the information constantly flowing through us. Inspired by somatic practices, anatomy, and presence work, we will use improvisation and imagination to bring the whole body — including the face — into motion.

The pace is adaptable, allowing each participant to engage according to their own energy and curiosity.
