As part of a collaboration between TROIS C-L | Maison pour la danse and the Theatres of the City of Luxembourg, a GUEST MOVERS workshop...
For this new 55+ MOVERS workshop, the Finnish multidisciplinary artist Ville Oinonen returns to TROIS C-L for the second time!
This workshop offers an immersion into the world of The Days.
The performance, deeply human and moving, explores resilience and the universal desire for connection through a score shared by two performers, Ville Oinonen and Klaara Haapanen, in a dialogue that is at once sincere, tender, and absurd.
Participants will be invited to explore the choreographic material of the piece through an approach focused on sensitivity, body awareness, and partner work. Simple physical tasks, gently guided, will allow participants to explore and discover new ways of moving.
At the end of the workshop, two participants will be invited to join Ville and his partner Klaara on stage to take part in the performance of The Days, bringing a human and intergenerational dimension to the piece.
Ville Oinonen has been working and performing as an independent artist in Finland and internationally for more than thirteen years. His work includes many different performance forms, from dance films to stage productions such as The Doghill History of Finland at Pori Theatre. During his career, Oinonen has received grants from Taike – the Arts Promotion Centre Finland, the Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation, and the Finnish Cultural Foundation for his artistic work.
