YOUNG MOVERS workshops are back!

After a break, TROIS C-L is relaunching this weekly workshop programme designed for 15–35-year-olds who want to dance, discover and share, with no pressure and no previous experience required.

Exploring different styles, organizing collective jams, creating and presenting a final piece… Come dance, experiment and connect with others for a new year of movement and discovery!

Each week, we will meet around an original guiding theme: the shoe.

From urban/hip-hop dance sneakers to classical ballet slippers, from the bare feet of contemporary dance to disco platforms, every shoe tells a story and influences the way we move. A powerful image to explore the incredible diversity of dance styles throughout the year!

The shoe becomes a way to travel through different eras and dance styles, while questioning movement, identity, social codes and cultural influences.

The programme brings together a team of artists with diverse backgrounds and approaches: Vita Stasolla, Rosa Chimenti, Alicia Cano Smit and Benoît Callens, who will create a welcoming space for exploration, exchange and sharing.

▶︎ How does it work?

Each month is connected to a specific shoe and the dance style associated with it, following this path:

Bare feet — Socks — Sneakers — Loafers — Heels — Pointe shoes / demi-pointe…

The cycle then continues throughout the year, allowing participants to explore different styles, approaches and ways of moving every week!

Before each school holiday period: JAMs!

These collective sessions are festive moments of sharing where the whole team — artists and participants — comes together to revisit, create and improvise from what has been explored during the workshops.

As a year-long goal, the group will work together on a collective creation, which will be presented publicly during a TROIS C-L event: a unique moment of pride and celebration for the whole group!
