THE GAME – GRAND FINALE – Jill Crovisier

THE GAME explores the manifestations of games across countries, cultures, relationships and individual psyches, examining different aspects through the prism of movement and soundscapes. THE GAME reflects the diverse aspects of beauty and the darker sides of our society, inviting us to embark on a powerful journey between fiction and reality, simplicity and complexity, to question the role of each individual in society. Does this last game mark the end or the beginning of the game we call life?

In the bushes – Léa Tirabasso

Filled with absurdist humor, an ever watchful eye and a touching naiveté, In the bushes explores ideas around evolutionary theory, the accidental species and the absurd notion of human exceptionalism. Using a distinctive and meticulously crafted choreographic language, In the bushes asks questions about stigma, shame and societal conventions. What exactly is it that embarrasses us? In the bushes looks at our naked, exposed souls and celebrates our humanity with ferocious joy.

Sarabande & Am Fluss Djamila Polo

Sarabande and Am Fluss are two videos created in cooperation with dancer Djamila Polo, musicians Béla Bluche and Jakob Jentgens and filmmaker Darius Vernhes Delaunay in autumn 2023. Both videos are inspired by the aesthetic particularities of their respective locations – a tunnel and a clearing. The opening of the tunnel becomes the screen for a shadow play, the clearing a living room. Through dance, music and sound effects, the artists speak of dreams and hopes, memories and the passing of time.
