Launched by TROIS C-L in 2015, Les Émergences is a programme supporting contemporary choreographic creation. Its aim is to highlight emerging choreographic voices within Luxembourg’s artistic landscape while building bridges between young creators and the general public, notably through a series of public performances.
Aile en haut à gauche reinvents the figure of the angel, somewhere between grace and awkwardness. Dance and poetry bring to life hybrid beings—celestial and fragile. The costumes give rise to shifting figures, between the heavenly and the earthly. An ode to complexity, far from
binary visions.
DUNIYA (world in Mooré, a language spoken in Burkina Faso) questions the injustice of space: why are so many people deprived of a place of their own? Drawing on his own experience and on testimonies from people of diverse backgrounds, the artist gives voice — through
the body — to invisible struggles: poor housing, uprooting, instability.
