Introduced by TROIS C-L, “Les Émergences” encompasses a program to support choreographic creation by emerging artists, as well as a cycle of public performances. The aim is to highlight up-and-coming choreographic signatures on Luxembourg’s artistic landscape, and at this 3 du TROIS the public will have the chance to discover the beginnings of the creations to be presented in April:

With Boys Club, Cie Kosa reflects on masculine identity and the need to reinvent oneself. In an era marked by demands and debates around gender equality, and faced with the scarecrow of a hypothetical “crisis of masculinity” stirred up by conservative circles, the company embraces the idea of the “just” man, as Ivan Jablonka puts it. The play invites men to question their models of virility and their position of domination, and to consider their role in building a more gender-equal society.
Curriculum Vitae is a research and creation project by Loulou Omer, which unfolds through a participatory “Pont des Arts” project with participants in the “55+ MOVERS” workshops. This work-in-progress explores questions around time as it relates to man, particularly on a life-long scale and throughout history. It also questions memory, the unfolding of a narrative, its nature and the meaning of its particularity within a whole. The essence of the project lies in the symbolism of the “bridge”, which is a place where “differences meet”, giving rise to something new, inspiring a sense of richness, vitality, openness and connection, allowing the emergence of a poetic dimension and thus creating a new reality.
