This spring marks the return of the “Les Emergences”! After the success of previous productions and achieving pride of place in the contemporary dance scene in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, the fourth volume of the “Les Emergences” invites the general public to come and discover the artistic universes of the new faces in contemporary dance:
With my eyes | Baptiste Hilbert : This creation will immerse you in the spiritual world through the different perspectives of a woman, a musician and a choreographer.
Inside, the Wolf… | Aifric Ní Chaoimh : This piece explores a mysterious and moving encounter, a combination of humanity and wild instinct, in a faraway tribe.
SIXFOLD | Elisabeth Schilling : At the intersection of art, design and dance, this piece is an “unidentified choreographic object”, drawing on an in-depth study of movement between man and object.
Flowers grow, even in the sand | Giovanni Zazzera : When logic and the imaginary come face to face, what happens? In his work, Giovanni Zazzera helps (re)discover the power of the imaginary and belief in the existence of the improbable such as a flower growing in the sand.

Les Emergences Vol. 4 – 2017 | TEASER from TROIS C-L on Vimeo.
Created by the TROIS C-L, “Les Emergences” encompasses a support programme for contemporary creations, is aimed at emerging artists and includes a series of public performances inviting the public to come and discover the creations of the new faces of contemporary dance in Luxembourg.
As in previous years, the choreographers participating in the fourth volume of this event revealed a taster of their creations at the Prélude evening in the town’s prestigious venues. This evening was followed by the opportunity for the artists to meet the public.
Furthermore, Baptiste Hibert, one of this year’s young emerging choreographers held an introduction to contemporary dance event. Open to all, this event took place at the beginning of the evening beneath the chandelier of the Cercle’s Grand Hall.
