At the request of choreographic artists, the TROIS C-L and neimënster have joined forces with the THEATER FEDERATIOUN to organise a first conference on the fight against sexual violence and discrimination in the performing arts for the dance, theatre and performance sectors. The conference will present 3 international structures set up by and for artists to provide information, listen, advise and raise awareness.
This two-part conference will begin with a presentation of the associations, their missions and their actions: Whistle (US), ENGAGEMENT (BE) & SFA (FR). An open discussion with the audience and a coffee will follow, giving everyone an opportunity to find out more, understand the workings and resources available to artists thanks to these associations, and discuss the importance of creating ‘safe spaces’.
The participants will be :
– Anna Muchin for ENGAGEMENT
– Robyn Doty for Whistle
– Tristan Ihne for SFA
– Marie-Laure Rolland, conference moderator
This conference is being held with the support of the Ministry of Culture.
