I am fascinated by the absurdity and the grotesque of the human condition and of life in general. My choreographic work grows from observing, witnessing, and looking at people, animals, situations, and relationships from unexpected angles. I am drawn to contradictions and to what emerges when opposites coexist. I enjoy stepping -carefully-  along fragile borders: between the ugly and the beautiful, reality and fiction, drama and comedy. These in-between spaces fascinate and touch me, as they reveal a strange, unsettling poetry. In my work, I search for a singular beauty that does not aim to please, but to resonate.
