The Happy Days choreographic platform was conceived as a freeze-frame after seven years of Europe-wide artistic accompaniment by the Grand Luxe network. A unique opportunity to present on stage the finished works or work-in-progress of 17 artists from 7 different countries.
Over a condensed 3-day period, from April 04th to 06th, 2024, all areas of POLE-SUD CDCN, Strasbourg (FR) will be mobilized to present the entire artistic program. There will be plenty of opportunities for conviviality, encounters and discoveries.
There are many national choreographic events, but not many co-constructed on a transnational scale. Launched in 2015 and supported by nine organisations from seven different countries working to develop dance, the Grand Luxe network offers an à la carte support circuit each year for emerging choreographers and their projects. Over the years, the network has created and presented a large number of works, and the idea is now to organise a showcase for this expertise and give these artists a place to shine. The idea behind the “Happy Days” platform is to bring together current projects and to invite to the stage works that have benefited from the network’s support. In addition to the programming, there will be a series of professional meetings and social events over 3 days.
