The programme at K3 – Centre for Choreography | Tanzplan Hamburg focuses on artistic residencies that combine artistic research and production, offering courses and training for dance professionals and promoting dance education and culture in general. The Kampnagel Choreography Centre is one of the few dance venues in the German-speaking region and the only one in northern Germany.

A variety of residencies and working formats offer international and Hamburg-based choreographers and dance creators who are at the start of their professional careers the opportunity to conduct artistic research, produce and present their works to the public at K3. Regular classes and professional training courses, specialised qualification programmes, as well as guidance and advisory services are also available to professional dance creators and cultural practitioners.

This new collaboration between TROIS C-L and K3 in Hamburg begins in 2026, with Luxembourg hosting the German-based Iranian choreographer Sina Saberi in April. In return, the choreographer Alicia Cano Smit spends three weeks in Hamburg in August with her new project.
