Situated within the Cité Internationale in Paris, Maison du Portugal André de Gouveia is a venue for Portuguese culture, in particular for young artists’ projects. This venue equally wants to create links between different cultures. Therefore, its programme is very open, allowing exchanges and partnerships with various organisations.

It is within this perspective that the partnership between the Maison du Portugal André de Gouveia and TROIS C-L started in 2016.

In 2020, Elisabeth Schilling spent 2 weeks in Paris to work on her new piece HEAR EYE MOVE. Dances with Ligeti and Portuguese choreographer Carla Jordao was supposed to come to TROIS C-L for a residency in October. Carla’s residency was cancelled due to the current sanitary crisis.

In 2022, a new partner joins the project : Fondation Biermans-Lapôtre, la Maison des Etudiants Belges et Luxembourgeois. Tania Soubry went to Paris to work on her new project DJ Whimsy or what will the climate be like? and showed a work-in-progress on April 29th at the Fondation. In return, TROIS C-L hosted Portuguese artists Alice and Adrien Martins for a residency and a “3 du TROIS” in April.
