Art.13 is a joint project which tackles the theme of migration in today’s society. It is interested in human mobility in the globalised world where, together with free movement of goods and capital, some people move freely and make that a part of their identity, whilst others try to become invisible in order to cross borders.
On stage, several forms of migration are combined. The audience witnesses fragments of stories which are interlinked, lives that are still disorganised, that have no routine or points of reference, lives that are still looking for a new identity.
It is within this changeable climate that the dancers explore the invisible and intimate difference between cultural belonging and the process of acculturation, crowded with questioning, doubt and motivation, with discovery and nostalgia, disappointment, enrichment and hope.
