As you want – For Baptiste Hilbert and Catarina Barbosa, co-founders of AWA – As We Are a.s.b.l. is a piece that was imagined and created as a pyramid, with a solid and universal base, made up of a piece of the story shared by every living being on the planet. Then there is the centre of the construction where the same story is told but in a unique way depending on the individuals. The differences are made clear through the bodies and the conversation. It is this freedom of interpretation which makes us unique. Finally, we arrive at the top which is the only access to the “Future”. This brings a temporary end to our story and concentrates on the story of the two main characters, reserving a much more spread out handling of the rest of this architectural work: one man, one woman, both at the summit of this adventure.

This chorographical duo was created to remind us that human beings all come from the same place, even if individual life experiences make every one of us a different character, whose paths will one day meet, who will be drawn together, be torn apart and love each other.
