In April 2016, the third volume of the “Les Emergences” included eight young up and coming choreographers from Luxembourg. These young choreographers presented five emerging creations to the general public during the Prélude evening at the Grand Cité and the public performances at the Banannefabrik:
Impressing the Grand Duke ⎥ Simone Mousset & Elisabeth Schilling : A piece in honour of his Royal Highness, the Grand Duke, and in which two artists have unusual encounters.
ARENA ⎥ Hannah Ma : The dramatisation of two men who confront the fatality of their destiny during a final battle.
Quand le silence parle ⎥ Giovanni Zazzera & Sergio Mel : This creation is an invitation to discover the universe of silence which asks us questions, makes us dance or tells us what it has to say.
As you want ⎥ Baptiste Hilbert & Catarina Barbosa : Everybody’s story, from the abyss to the light!
Zement ⎥ Jill Crovisier : A choreography based on the theme of separation and the symbolism of the wall with the human hand as a tool to build and to destroy.
