The Uferstudios for contemporary dance is a historic area in Berlin-Wedding which currently brings together a total of six partners from Berlin’s independent dance scene. Thanks to the ada Studio and zeitgenissischen Tanz, the Interuniversity Centre for Dance Berlin, Tanzbuero Berlin, the PSR artists’ collective and the operating company Uferstudios GmbH, the area has matured into a dance centre since its formation in 2010. Thanks to the diversity of its partners, Uferstudios brings a wide range of artistic processes and contemporary dance aesthetics to the public’s attention.
In 2025, artist Brian CA will travel to Berlin for a six-week residency, with the support of Kultur | lx.
