On the third day of each month, TROIS C-L | Maison pour la danse organizes Les 3 DU TROIS, an exceptional cultural event featuring a multidisciplinary artistic program that seeks to rethink and question society and the choreographic arts.
During these evenings, artists are invited to present their work and share their reflections on various themes following a period of residency and/or research. These events offer an opportunity to discover contemporary dance from a different angle and in various forms. The warm and less formal atmosphere encourages encounters and exchanges with the artists.
During this discussion, the floor will be given to professional artists from various disciplines (dance, theatre, etc.) with disabilities who have built national and international careers in their fields. Their testimonies will shed light on the richness and diversity of possible paths, while helping to deconstruct certain preconceived ideas.
Before discovering on April 17 and 18 the premieres of the pieces by emerging Luxembourgish choreographers Serge Daniel Kaboré and Djamila Polo, let yourself be surprised with a short preview: a few minutes from each of their works!
Alazar – Welcoming the “other” is a performance about the unpredictable encounter of several beings. Through movement and everyday memories, the performers explore what it means to welcome the other—and oneself. A sensitive and deeply human performance.
Inspired by organic and mineral forms, this choreographic piece weaves a dialogue between dance and contemporary music. The dancing bodies create and undo bonds, exploring impermanence, fleeting alliances, and the fragile poetry of existence.
Shadows’ Light explores the silent dance between light and shadow. Moving bodies sculpt a suspended universe, where every gleam reveals a fragment of soul and every shadow a depth. An invitation to contemplate duality, at the crossroads of the visible and the invisible.
