On the third day of each month, TROIS C-L | Maison pour la danse organizes Les 3 DU TROIS, an exceptional cultural event featuring a multidisciplinary artistic program that seeks to rethink and question society and the choreographic arts.
During these evenings, artists are invited to present their work and share their reflections on various themes following a period of residency and/or research. These events offer an opportunity to discover contemporary dance from a different angle and in various forms. The warm and less formal atmosphere encourages encounters and exchanges with the artists.
Inspired by Pavane for a dead princess by Maurice Ravel, the choreographer envisions an unbroken procession, a fleeting and intense choreography where each body fights against erasure. A work between ritual and revolt: a pavane for the 21st century.
Mateusz Szczerek explores body modification through tattooing as an act of identity, a ritual of transformation, and a mirror of social stigmas. Blending personal poetry and Krump, he examines the marked body, chosen pain, and the quest for reconciliation with oneself. An introspective, physical, and visceral piece.
A multidisciplinary project combining music, dance, and theatre, MOTH explores communication and human relationships. This immersive work probes the complexity of communication when emotions — or the barriers created by ego or fear — take over.
BLACK WATER presents a series of photographs by Brian Ca, capturing the movement of dance and water. Through these images, the artist freezes the ephemeral, exploring fluidity, loss, and imprint, capturing what, by nature, escapes any stable form.
